Both of your books have been like seeds breaking forth into light & life.....taking very obvious words of Christ and awakening my senses to REALLY see them. I need to learn what you are learning - Emperor Nero wasn't easy to pray for I wager. I think we often barr the way for Muslims to see Jesus for who he is, by our reactions. You should talk to Brother Andrew. I think he would like to pray with you. The Lord has led you to be His Body in many similar circumstances. Your sermons, stories and writings have gone a long way in helping me to deal with the issue of loving enemies, or at least being more tolerant and less willing to accept judgment of others which permeates the american conservative christian community (alex ackermann and i were discussing this, at our last lunch, where your name came up.) One thing that I have learned, from your perspective and pastor brady boyd of new life church, colorado springs, co, is to understand when someone is "yelling at the darkness." Simply stated, we know the world is dark; we know there will be persecution; we know the answer is the sweet love of our savior. So, how do we become Jesus, by allowing his love to flow through us. Here's a short story of ours, we own a small, fine dining tea house in canon city, co and we traditionally we do a Valentines Dinner which includes a framed, color picture as a memory.
